The elderly is one of the population groups increasing most rapidly in the Nordic countries. Meanwhile we desperately tribute eternal youth and cover up all signs of aging on our bodies. Why are we so afraid of old age? What is the reality of life in an old body? What happens when we embrace age and engage in dance with the elderly - a dance of experience, memories, longings and dreams of a whole lived life.

Happy End challenges with poetic realism borders between staging and reality and investigate movement dialogue with nursing home residents, and their individual stories of life in an old body. In Happy End we facilitate a meeting between the residents and their surrounding local community through a performative event.
